We like to think of our sheets as canvases of comfort, setting the scene for night after night of dreamy bliss. With every shade and style, is the chance to transform your bedroom and create something truly special.
Whether you’re a cosy connoisseur or master of minimalism, a little colour can go a long way.
Lighter colours, such as pristine whites or icey blues, are favoured for their ability to make spaces feel open and airy. Used wisely, these colours can make even the smallest rooms appear larger, promoting a sense of physical spaciousness and mental clarity.
For those hoping to introduce a sense of tranquillity and ambience, richer tones, such as midnight navy or charcoal grey, can transform a room into a sophisticated retreat. These deep hues draw in warmth and comfort, evoking a sense of intimacy and true relaxation. They’re perfect for creating a snug atmosphere where relaxation is key.
Beyond comfort, these colours also add an element of elegance to a room; paired with the right lighting and accessories, dark, earthy bedding can turn any bedroom into a stylish sanctuary that’s both comfortable and chic.
Above all, the bedding you choose should reflect a little of your own personality. When it comes to interior design, there are no hard and fast rules, so go with your gut.

Atop the covers or buried under blankets, the right bedding should have you smashing snooze like you’ve nowhere to be.
For warmer sleepers, percale bedding is ideal. Woven using a one-over, one-under pattern, this traditional weave creates a breathable and lightweight fabric, ensuring a cool and crisp sleeping experience. No more tossing and turning, our luxury percale’s matte finish and airy nature make it a superb choice for those seeking comfort on warmer nights.
For cold sleepers and cooler climates, sateen bedding is a versatile choice. Woven in a four-over, one-under pattern, this lustrous fabric provides a touch of warmth during cooler nights while maintaining breathability for a cool and comfortable sleep during warmer months.
FAQs
Are your fitted sheets safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely! Each and every one of our fitted sheets is manufactured using ethically sourced, premium quality GOTs certified cotton, rigorously tested in accordance with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 specifications.
This ensures that our bedding is kind to the most sensitive skin, and guarantees that no harmful chemicals have been used at any point in their creation.
How do I take care of my fitted sheets?
For long lasting softness, Spin & Yarn bedding should be washed at 40°c, amongst similar colours. For skin-friendly sheets, we’d recommend using a gentle, non-toxic detergent.
When it’s time to dry, a washing line with a cool breeze is ideal, but an indoor airer will certainly do the trick on drizzly days. If absolutely necessary, tumble dry on a very low heat and remove your sheets from the dryer as soon as the cycle is finished to prevent wrinkles. For crease-free bedding, it’s best to finish the drying process naturally.
What are organic cotton fitted sheets?
Unlike most regular cotton bedding, which is typically mass produced and low in quality, our premium organic cotton fitted sheets are made from high quality, long staple organic cotton fibres which are sustainably cultivated without the use of any synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, ensuring a healthier, eco-friendly product.
Moreover, all of our bedding is GOTs certified, protecting not only the natural environment from which our organic cotton is sourced, but the farmers and workers that play such an important part in the manufacture of our products.
You can rest easy knowing this bedding is gentle on your skin, breathable, and incredibly soft, providing a luxurious and environmentally responsible sleep experience.
What’s the difference between sateen and percale weave?
Often associated with a luxurious drape and smooth texture, sateen is soft and silky. Percale, on the other hand, boasts a matte finish and cool, crisp touch.
Having trouble deciding between the two? You’ll find all the information you need in our buyer’s guide.
What type of sheets do luxury hotels use?
Percale bed sheets are synonymous with the crisp, hotel-like feel we all know and love. If you’re looking to bring the luxury of 5-star comfort home, our Organic cotton percale bed sheets are a versatile choice for year-round luxury.
What thread count are Spin & Yarn sheets?
Our fitted sheets range from 300 - 325 threads per inch, offering a luxurious touch that softens with every wash.
That said, thread count is by no means the only indicator of linen quality. In fact, it is a common misconception that a higher thread count equals a better product; this isn’t always true.
The quality of the cotton is much more important than the number of threads in the linen. So much so that a higher-quality fibre with a lower thread count will feel softer than a lower-quality fibre with a higher thread count.
How deep are your fitted sheets?
Our fitted sheets have a versatile 32cm pocket to ensure they fit with most regular mattresses and the all around extra strong elastic guarantees a great fit through the night.
