Meticulously made or casually covered, beautiful bedding has the power to relax a space and soothe the soul. From brilliant whites to rich charcoal greys, well-placed colour can truly reimagine your sleep experience.
If you’re unsure which colour is right for you, begin by considering the aesthetic you wish to create and the energy you wish to achieve.
Opting for light shades, such as icy blues or snow whites, can really open up a room, making it feel more spacious and airy. These colours are great for giving even the tiniest of spaces a bigger, brighter look, helping to clear the mind and create a feeling of openness.
For a touch of calm and a cosy vibe, why not try deeper colours like deep navy or soft charcoal? These shades can turn any room into a chic hideaway, bringing in a sophisticated warmth that makes for a perfect night’s sleep.
If modern minimalism is the look you’re after, a neutral palette, including sands, stones and natural cottons, is the perfect choice. Earthy colours bring a serene, organic feel to any space, grounding a room with their clean lines and understated elegance.
Organic Cotton By Feel
Tossed aside during long summer nights or tucked in tight on frosty winter mornings, organic cotton bedding is synonymous with a long lasting softness and rejuvenating rest. That said, true luxury means something different to everyone. From sensitive skin to nighttime chills, we’re here to help you find your feel.
For warmer sleepers, percale bedding is ideal. Traditionally crafted using a one-over, one-under weave, this fabric is both breathable and light, translating to a cool, refreshing night’s sleep. Say goodbye to restless nights; our premium percale, with its matte, hotel-like texture, is a perfect choice for those seeking a crisper touch on warmer nights.
For cold sleepers and cooler climates, sateen bedding is a versatile choice. Woven in a four-over, one-under pattern, this lustrous fabric provides a touch of warmth during cooler nights while maintaining breathability for a cool and comfortable sleep during warmer months.
FAQs
At what temperature do you wash organic cotton sheets?
For bedding as soft and as fresh as a dusting of snow, we’d recommend washing at 40°c, with similar colours. Additionally, use a gentle, non-toxic detergent for best results.
Can I tumble dry organic cotton bedding?
As far as drying is concerned, a washing line or clothes horse is always best. This prevents creasing and ensures long-lasting softness wash after wash.
If time is of the essence, organic cotton sheets can be machine dried on a very low heat. To prevent folds and wrinkles, it’s a good idea to take your bedding out of the machine a few minutes early and finish the drying process naturally.
What is the difference between organic cotton and non organic cotton bedding?
Unlike regular cotton bedding, which is typically mass produced and low in quality, our premium organic cotton bedding is sustainably cultivated without the use of any pesticides.
Moreover, all of our bedding is GOTs certified, protecting not only the natural environment from which our organic cotton is sourced, but the farmers and workers that play such an important part in the manufacture of our products.
Is organic cotton bedding safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely, our bedding is made from the finest quality cotton, ensuring a gentle touch for the most sensitive of skin.
Each and every one of our products is manufactured using ethically sourced, premium quality cotton, rigorously tested in accordance with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 specifications. This ensures that our Egyptian and Organic cotton products are kind to the most sensitive skin, and guarantees that no harmful chemicals have been used at any point in their creation.
What thread count is your premium organic cotton?
Our 100% organic cotton sheets are available in either percale or sateen weaves, with high thread counts of 300 and 325, respectively.
That said, thread count is far from the only indicator of high quality organic cotton. In fact, the quality of the cotton is much more important than the number of threads in the linen. So much so that a higher-quality fibre with a lower thread count will feel softer than a lower-quality fibre with a higher thread count.
Our premium organic cotton bedding, made from exceptional high-quality fibres, offers unparalleled softness, breathability, and durability.
